The late Mr. Thomas Wall, it is averred, was the first person, when an infant, over 70 years ago, to be christened in St. Mat thew's Church of England.
One of Windsor's best-known agriculturalists in the person of Mr Thomas Wall, died at his late residence. Richmond Road, on Thursday morning Deceased had reached the age of 73 years and 8 months, and had been sufferenng more or less for the past 18 months, and for some time prior to his death was confined to his bed Drs Gibson and Callaghan were both attending him He leaves a widow and large family of grown up children. The funeral took place this Friday afternoon at 2 30 p m. the cortege Proceed ing to St Matthew's Church of England Cemetary The Rev S G Fielding officiated, and during his address in the church made reference to the life of deceased, and his connection with the church. Mr J Primrose carried out the funeral arrangements.
