NOTE: the Moses Wallace that is from Johnson, North Carolina is NOT this Moses. That Moses lived many years beyond this Moses, who died in 1831 in Augusta, VA

Biography

Moses was born in 1790 in Augusta County, Virginia. He was the son of Robert Wallace and Esther Boyd.

Moses served in the War of 1812 as a Private in Captain Hugh Young's Virginia Militia.

On 4 Jan 1819, in Augusta County, Virginia, he married Elizabeth Kerr by way of marriage bond.[1] They had 6 known children.

Moses and Elizabeth lived at the Kerr family homestead, Summerdean in Augusta County. He passed away in 1831 at the age of 41 and was buried at the Old Lebanon Cemetery.

Wallace-2530 and Wallace-2547 do not represent the same person because: They are not the same person. Moses of Johnston County did not die until after 1860 and can be corn in the census in 1840,1850 and 1860.
