A native of Golden Pond, he was botn May 8, 1925, son of the late Arthur and Gertie Luton Wallace. In addition to his work at Trigg Elementary, he previously was principal at Golden Pond School and Trigg County High School. After his retirement from the elementary school he served on Trigg County Tourism Commission and later as deputy clerk in Trigg County Circuit Clerk's Office.
Arthur died at the age of 66 on 4 May 1992.
