Cyrus Wallace was born May 19th, 1817, and was married September 18th, 1842, to Catherine Hunt, of Abington township, Wayne county, Indiana, daughter of John and Mary (Whitehead) Hunt, who was born October 8th, 1824. After their marriage they resided on a farm two miles south-west of Milton until December, 1892, when they moved to Milton, where they purchased property.
Their family consisted of two daughters, Mary H. and Martha F.
