Biography
David was born in 1842, near West Mansfield Ohio. And died at his home in West Liberty at the age of 48 years,3 mos. and 26 days. At 19 he enlisted in the service of of his country, at Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was in the K company 42Regt. O.V.I. . He was promoted at Vicksburg, Miss. to Corporal. When at Jackson, he was wounded and laid under a tree for nine days and nights..He was taken from there to Vicksburg, then to Memphis, Tenn. In October he was discharged because of his wounds. He married on September 4, 1866 to Elizabeth J Pugsley of East Liberty, Logan Ohio. They had one son Charles P, and two daughter Louie L Wallace-Williams and Dora E Wallace 1880-1892. He was buried at Fairview Cemetary, West Liberty Ohio
