DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Wallace-5861 and Wallace-3890 appear to represent the same person because: Dates (where precise), places, spouse all match. I believe they both even refer to the same gravestone as a source.
I checked AncestryDNA and it confirms our connection, no reason I can see to not assume it's via Rev. Wallace here. I've connected Henry Fletcher Wallace, my great-great-grandfather, as son of Thomas and Mary.
I connect to William Thomas Wallace, Henry Fletcher's brother. Do you have a tree on Ancestry.com? If so, what is the tree name?
