Massachusetts Vital Record, George Farrar Wallis is the son of Isaac and Rebecca Wallis

Thanks to Kathy Jo (unsure if I should use last names here), I now know for certain that George Farrar is the father of George Alvin. She found the record in the Townsend Historical Society files.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:

According to "Descendants fo Jacob Farrar, Jr. and Hannah Hayward of Lancaster, Massachusetts to 1825" by Sue Farrar Thorne, Gateway Press, Inc, Baltimore, MD George Farrar Wallis and Lydia Lawrence had a son named George, but I can't prove it is George Alvin Wallace. The web site, "The Descendants of John Heyward" http://www.heywoods.info/w/GWallace01.php#null indicates this is so, as well as other sites. But I have not seen anyone list their sources.
