Biography

Nancy Wallis born 27 Dec 1841, bap 23 June 1842, St Just, In 1851 her father Peter was a tin and copper miner living at Kennidjack with Joanna 37, John 14, Thomas 11, Nancy 9, Charles 7, Joanna 5 and Mary 10 months., emigrated to Otago, New Zealand about 1862. married Thomas Martyn on 20 July 1889 at Hokitika [Mrs Faye Enever of Figtree, NSW] [Debbie Hills of Rangiora NZ letter 1989.] Living at Blue Spur, Westland in 1893 and 1896. Nancy died 3 Sept 1905 at Blue Spur on West Coast, NZ, aged 64.
