In 1851 Peter was a tin and copper miner living at Kennidjack with Joanna 37, John 14, Thomas 11, Nancy 9, Charles 7, Joanna 5 and Mary 10 months. In 1861 he was a tin miner at Alma Villa with Joanna 48, Thomas 21, Joanna 16, Mary 11, Jane 8 and Matilda 6.
