Biography
Gladys was born in 1905. Her birth was registered in Ross (on Wye) and her mother's maiden name was Edwards. [1]
In 1911 Gladys was living with her parents Thomas and Rosina in Soudley. Her father was a Railway Carpenter for Great Western Railways. Gladys was one of her parents 7 surviving children. [2]
On 17 October 1925 Gladys married John Scrivens in Cinderford. He was a Collier. [3] John died aged 33 in 1936.
In 1942 Gladys married again, to Robert Sharkey. [4]
Gladys died on 29 November 1982. She had been living in Cinderford.. [5]
