OSBORNE - On 23rd September [1874], at her residence, the Empire Hotel, Hokitika, the wife of Mr B. Osborne.

The friends of Benjamin Osborne are respectfully invited to follow the remains of his late wife and infant daughter to the Cemetery. The funeral will move from his residence, the Empire Hotel, tomorrow, Friday, afternoon at half-past 1, and St. Mary's Church at 2 o'clock.^[1]
