From Fr. Joseph Lawrence Walter:
Worked as a bricklayer at Duquesne Works, U.S. Steel. Godparents were Joseph Ebner and Barbara Münzenberger.
Sponsors at Baptism were Joseph Ebner and Barb Münzenberger. His father died when he was only 14 years old. He had to leave school and begin to work in the Steel Mill where he worked as a bricklayer at Duquesne Works, U.S. Steel for over fifty years.
Lived in Braddock when married, then lived in Duquesne for a few years before moving back to Braddock. Lived there until 1973 when he went to the St. Pius Residence where he died in 1976. He loved to sing tenor and did so for about 50 years, mostly with the St. Joseph Choir. Very religious, sometimes two masses on Sunday, Vespers, Novenas on Tuesday and Friday each week.
Buried in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery
