Biography

Richard was born around 1717. He was a minister. In 1740, he was appointed chaplain of his majesty's ship the Centurion, which circumnavigated the world starting in September 1740. On 25 Mar 1845, Richard was appointed chaplain of Chapel in the Dock-Yard, Portsmouth.[1] In April 1750 he was also appointed chaplain to Three Royal Ships in Portmouth.[2]

He passed away in March 1785.[3]
