Katherine Walter was baptised on 15 Jun 1615 at Wimbledon, Surrey, daughter of William and Elizabeth.[1]
Katherine Walter married Knighton Ferrers on 19 Jul 1632 at St Margaret Lothbury, City of London.[2][3]
Her father Sir William Walter died on 18 May 1632. "In his will dated 7 Apr 1631 he appointed his daughter Catherine, who married Knighton Ferrers of Hertfordshire, sole executrix, and left her all his books".[4]
In the will of Knighton Ferrers Esq made on 11 Apr 1640 and proved on 06 Jun 1640[5], Katherine was the principal beneficiary and the sole Executrix. The will also mentioned their daughter Katherine.
In the memoirs of Lady Ann Fanshawe[6] it was said that a daughter of Sir William Walter married Simon Fanshawe.
Katherine Ferrers (formerly Walter) married Simon Fanshawe on 29 Sep 1640 at Bengeo, Hertfordshire.[7]
