Biography

Elizabeth was the biological mother of Mary Ann WARD, who was christened on 13 November 1808 in Aldenham, Hertfordshire, England. The record of the christening states that her father was Jas. Steel and her mother was Elizth. Ward. [1] On the other hand there is another record, this one stating that 13 Nov 1808 was her date of birth and that she was christened in the following month. [2]

Research Notes

Could she be the Elizabeth Rebeka Ward who was christened on 18 July 1874 in Elstree, Hertfordshire, just a couple of miles from Aldenham? [3]
