Biography

Cynthia Anne Ward was born 6 Jul 1872 in Johnson County, Kentucky, USA to Francis Marion Ward and Jane (Rose) Ward.

In 1880 Cynthia Ward (age 8) lived in Sycamore, Johnson County, Kentucky with her father Francis M (33), mother Jane (28), and five siblings: Enanuel (13), Grant (11), Mary E (6), Martha J (3), and Cora (1).[1]

Cyntha A Ward married Ben F Caudill on 24 Jul 1886 in Johnson County, Kentucky.[2] It was her first marriage and his second.

Cynthia and Ben had at least nine children: Mathey Caudill (c1890-), Sherman Caudill (c1892-), Henry Caudill (1894-1967), Corbett Caudill (c1895-), Marion Caudill (c1897-), Phoebe Caudill (c1900-), Golda May (Caudill) (Moore) Holbrook (c1901-), Michel Caudill (c1907-), and Dora Caudill (c1910-)

In 1910 'Carthey' Caudill (age 39) lived at Little Gap, Johnson County with her husband Benjamin F (age 49), eight children: Mathey (20), Sherman (18), Henry (15), Marion (13), Pheby (10), Golda (9), Michel (3), and Dora (0), as well as sister-in-law Arminta Pack (61) and her son Noah Pack (20).[3]

Cynthia's first husband passed away before 1920.

Cynthia Caudill married Basil Daniel on 20 Nov 1920 in Thelma, Johnson County.[4]

In 1930 Synthan Daniels (age 59) and her husband Basil (76) lived in Alcorn, Greenup, Kentucky in the household of Dock Ward.[5]

Cynthia Anne Ward Caudill Daniels passed away 11 Nov 1931. She is buried in Poynter Cemetery in Argillite, Greenup County, Kentucky.[6]
