I have a Sara Ward listed in my lineage under William Ward, Jr and Lydia Chamness as her parents. It is not proven, but mother's info comes from Irene Mast. This is what I have:

Sarah Ward b 1775 in Chatham Co NC or Orange Co NC. died 1844 to 1856, Married William Williams on July 18, 1805 in Rowan Co., NC. Mother of John Williams b aft 1805.

Could this match the Sarah Ward by you, Roy Rose? Probably not because of death date. Anyone else?
