He was married about 1699 in Newton to Grace Lovering, daughter of William Lovering and Margaret Gutch. [1] [2]
Edward died in Natick, Middlesex County in January, 1749 [1] [3]

"Edward Ward, born March 16, 1761, in Newton Mass., died January 1749. He married Grace Lovering, born about 1677, died November 30, 1754, in Natick, Mass.
In early life he resided at Oak Hill, Newton. After 1725 he was at Natick, and erected several mills there, in the part previously belonging to Needham, Mass.
Children, born in Newton:
130. Abigail, born. January 22, 1699, married October 4, 1722, Isaac Mills. They had eight children, all born in Natick, Mass. Six of them -- Amos, Anna, Grace, Jacob, Phineas, and Thomas, were baptized on the same day, November 7, 1736. The other two, Elijah and Lydia (died April 17, 1754) were baptized respectively on July 24, 1738 and October 27, 1745.
131. Esther, born March 1, 1702
132. Mary, born April 24, 1703, died 1805, aged 102 years less six weeks. She married April 6, 1725, John Hastings.
133. Sarah, born July 26, 1708.
134. Hannah, born January 22, 1712, married Deacon Jeremiah Woodcock of Needham, Mass., son of John and Sarah Woodcock of Dedham, Mass. He died September 27, 1752
