Hannah Ward, daughter of John Ward and Hannah Jackson, was born in Cambridge (later called Newton), Massachusetts.[1][2] No birth record was found, but Newton family lists call her the eldest daughter of John and Hannah,[3] and list their eldest son, John, with a birth date in November 1653.[4]
Thomas, born 22 January 1671 or 15 July 1673,[1][7] married Elizabeth Wiswall[2] and had children[1]
John, married Hannah Trowbridge and had children, married second to Alice Lyon[1][2] (see research note, below)
Hannah died before 1687,[2] as in December 1687 Thomas Greenwood, who had remarried Abigail _____, fathered a child. Hannah likely died in Cambridge (renamed Newton in 1688). No death record has been found.
Research Notes
Birth of Sons Thomas and John
No birth record was found for John but there are two birth found records for a son named Thomas, one in 1671 and one in 1673. Many attribute the 1673 date of birth to John, however, Hannah and Thomas may have had two sons named Thomas, one born 1671 who died in infancy, and the second who was born in 1673 and married Elizabeth Wiswall.
