Dale City, Chesterfield, Virginia, United States ^[3] Note - This isn't correct. Dale Parish was founded in 1735 and has served both Henrico and Chesterfield counties, VA. Chesterfield Co., VA, didn't exist 1749, when it was formed from part of Henrico Co., VA. ^[4] Seth Ward's will says he is "of the parish and County of Henrico.

Part of the bottom of the page is torn. It appears to be another bequest, but the name is unreadable. This is as much as I can make out “my s[torn] Se[torn] all my land in henrico County and all my negroes not before mentioned.”
Abraham Jones when he comes to age
my three children Seth, Martha and Elizabeth “and in case that my children should die leaving no issue of their body _?_ fully begotten, and not disposed of their estates so that there would be an heir at law com (sic) in to claim their estate, and for _?_ (providing?) that heir at law my will is that Abraham Jones heir and _?_ that tract land lying on Mishews Branch containing (two?) hundred acres to him and his heirs forever. And for preventing of that heir at law coming in for any part of my estate my plantation I now live on and all my land in Shefields Negroes and other estate real and personal not disposed of by my children as aforsaid I give and bequeath to Capt. John Worsham and Capt William Worsham to them & their heirs forever and I do appoint Capt John Worsham and Capt William Worsham to be Trustees to see this my will performed and to _?_ upon them the guardianship and care of my children which I leave under their care.”
