Fannie E. Ward was born on 12 Nov. 1862 at Madison Co., New York, USA.[1] She appeared on the census of 18 Aug. 1870 in the household of her parents, Reuben S. Ward and Annis E. (Wilcox) Ward, at Zumbrota, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.[2] She appeared on the census of 19 June 1880 in the household of her mother at Red Wing, Goodhue Co., Minnesota.[3] She was a missionary in Mexico before her marriage to Oscar Bruber.
She married Oscar W. Bruber, son of Frank Bruber and Emily (Johnson) Bruber, on 29 Nov. 1888 at Zumbrota, Goodhue Co., Minnesota. Her sister, Mina, and Mina's husband, Victor Bruber, brother of Oscar, were the witnesses.[1][4]
She and Oscar appeared on the census of 13 June 1895 at Zumbrota, Minnesota with their two daughters Mildred and Mina.[5]
Fannie died on 9 Feb. 1899 at Hay Creek, Goodhue Co., Minnesota, at age 36[1] and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Red Wing. Her memorial has photos, links to those of her parents and husband and the names of her children.[6]
