Biography
Elias Ward was born in 1834 in Canada and died September 4, 1867 in Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. His wife was Nancy Finney.[1]
Elias Ward , the son of George and Rebecca Ward, was born about 1834 in Canada, and was living in Worth, Sanilac, Michigan with his parents and siblings in 1850.[2]
On 21 August1858 Elias married Nancy Finnie in Lexington, Sanilac, Michigan.[3]
Elias enlisted as a Union soldier on 22 August 1862 in Burr Oak, Michigan.[4]
Elias died 4 September 1867, a Union Civil War veteran.[5]
