Hi Sandra

I can confirm the Father of James Ward was a Richard Ward Died 1704 (Warde and wife Mabel Have no surname for her) I have a copy will that mentions son James and others as beneficiaries. There is also an inventory that details stock held by Richard with a total estate worth over £300. If you want more information from the will message me back. I intend to visit the Fylde area of the Wards at St Michaels in the spring. Hopefully to find any graves which may give additional clues.

Regards

Thank you Liz - I have been feeling my way around the site and I think I'm ready to start my tree. I have signed the Honor Code, but not sure what that gives me, so will probably be asking for help soon !!

Hi and Welcome Alisandra!

I'm glad you found us. To become a full member (aka Wiki Genealogist), you’ll need to sign the Honor Code. For a list of helpful links, please click my name and check out the links under my "Greeter" section – especially the Sources links and links to my fellow greeters Debby and Maggie, who have helpful information on their profile pages also.

If you get stuck on anything and can't find an answer in Help (upper right on a WikiTree page), you can post to the G2G forum or give me a holler.

Thank you for joining our collaborative tree!

Remember that our mission is to build a global tree with just one profile per person, so please look for duplicates before adding a profile.

Enjoy!

Hello, I'm in Western Australia and searching for ancestors from my family and my husband's family. So far They have been found in Australia, of course, England, Ireland, US, Caribbean, Belgium, Germany, and New Zealand. I am so happy to find a free to share site and would like to put up what I have found and maybe find something for myself.
