Frank Ward was born in Lancashire, England.

Frank was born in Middleton, Lancashire, England, in 1859.^[1] His birth was registered in the second quarter in Oldham. He was the son of John Ward and Eliza Holcroft. He was christened on May 4, 1859 at St. Leonards in Middleton. He was enumerated in the 1861, ^[2] 1871, ^[3] and 1881 census ^[4] residing with his family. In 1881 they were living in Newton (Registration District Prestwich), Lancashire. he stated he was twenty two, single, and a "Salesman Dyed Goods"

Frank ,arried Emily Race in 1886.^[5] The marriage was registered in the third quarter in Manchester. The couple would have two children, Elsie, about 1888, and Frank E., about 1889. Frank was enumerated in the 1891, ^[6] 1901, ^[7] and 1911 census ^[8] residing with Emily and his two children. In 1901 and 1911, they were living in Heaton Norris, Cheshire. Frank noted his occupation as "Salesman" in all Census reports.

Frank passed away on August 27, 1938.^[9] His death was registered in Southport, Lancashire. His Probate was administered on October 18, 1938, naming Thomas William Bean as benificiary.^[10]
