Lawrence ‘Toad' Warden, 88, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at 8 a.m. at his home in Russiaville. He was born April 10, 1924 the son of Leslie Faye and Ruth Esther (Price) Warden in Howard County.

He was a 1942 graduate of West Middleton High School and attended Ball State University. He went onto work at Med-O-Bloom Dairy as a milkman and Delco Electronics in plant security for over 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the Russiaville United Methodist Church, New London Masonic Lodge F & AM 283, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Shrine Club, John Purdue Club, and Western H.S. Booster Club. Toad was an avid sports fan, being especially fond of Purdue and Western sports.

He is survived by his former wife, Goldie (Krhin) Warden, Kokomo, son, Mark L. Warden, Kokomo, sister, Helen (Walter) Thomas, Russiaville, nieces, Judy (Charlie) Aigner of Columbus, Nancy (Hy) Brown of Jerusalem, a great-niece, Rachel (Matthew) Lewellyn of Kentucky, and great-nephew, Thomas (Allison) Aigner; great great niece Avagail all of Massachusetts.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Stout & Son Funeral Home 200 E. Main Street Russiaville, IN 46979 with Pastor Ronald Mann officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Burial will follow the funeral services at Russiaville Cemetery.
