Biography

Mary was born in September of 1841 to Wilkerson and Martha Watts Ware. She is listed with her parents on both: the 1850 Census[1] and the 1860 Census[2] in Amherst, Virginia.

On November 30, 1860 she married Gabriel Francis Page.[3] She is listed with her husband on the 1870 Census,[4] the 1880 Census,[5] and the 1900 Census.[6] Census records indicate that the couple had twelve children but only nine were living at the time the 1900 Census was taken.

She passed away in April of 1901 at the age of 59. She is buried in Green Hill Cemetery in Buena Vista, Buena Vista City, Virginia[7]
