Rufus Alexander Ware born in 1847, was the the son of Thomas Ceaton Ware and Jane (Oates) Ware. He Married firstly, Mary Elizabeth "Susannah" Stewart after he returned from service with the CSA in the Civil War. Rufus and Susannah had at least the following children:
