Biography

Nathaniel Ware was born about 1670, most likely in Ireland. He was the fourth and youngest son of John Ware Esq, and Elizabeth Bird, second daughter of John Bird Esq, of Cork.

In 1700, he married firstly, Ruth Baldwin of Lisnegat.^[1]

Nathaniel and Ruth had three sons and five daughters:

1. Nathaniel Ware died unmarried at Malaga, disposed of his paternal inheritance
2. Thomas Ware of Woodfort m Elizabeth Webb
3. James Ware died in India
4. five daughters, one may be Hannah Ware m Rev William Millet

In 1734, he married secondly, Catherine Jumper, the widow of Sir William Jumper, by whom he had no issue.
