Biography

Sophia Ware was born on April 24, 1827 in Lebanon, Warren, Ohio to John Ware and Margaret Roberts^[1].

She married James Osborn on March 5, 1844 in Henry County, Indiana^[2]. They had five children:

1. Tence Lindley Osborn born August 31, 1846 in Henry County, IN
2. Charles Ware Osborn born July 12, 1849 in Howard County, IN
3. Lewis Perry Osborn born November 11, 1853 in Howard County, IN
4. Mary Martha Osborn born July 14, 1861 in Howard County, IN
5. Henry Milton Osborn born August 7, 1865 in Howard County, IN

Sophia died on November 5, 1898 in Greentown, Howard, Indiana at the age of seventy-one. She is buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greentown^[3].
