John Foster Warner was born on 5 May 1859 at New York, USA.^[1] He appeared on the census of 21 July 1860 in the household of his parents, Andrew J. Warner and Catherine (Pardee) Foster at Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.^[2] He appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 in the household of his parents at Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.^[3]

He married Mary Adams on 18 April 1883. ^[1]

He and Mary Adams lived in 1899 at Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.^[1] He was an architect when he and Mary appeared on the census of 5 June 1900 at Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.^[4] He and Mary appeared on the census of 7 April 1930 at Rochester, Monroe Co., New York.^[5]
