Biography

Frances Warner, ninth of ten children of Dr. Ebenezer and Martha Warner married Benjamin Oviatt of New Milford, CT April 1744, in New Milford, Litchfield County, Ct. They were married by Joseph Minor, J.P. April 17, 1744; they were members of the First Congregational Church of New Milford, CT in 1748. Frances and Benjamin had a daughter, Elisha Oviatt, born. August 3, 1752 in New MIlford, Litchfield, Connecticut. One son, Ebenezer, was a Revolutionary War soldier who died in Allegany County, New York. Another son, Benjamin, and his family were in Canada for some years. Frances died April 3, 1831 in Scio, Allegheny Co. NY.
