Notes:
John Hough, b. before 1704, probably in Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut. Appointed co-executor of father's will of 1731. He married Sarah WARNER and moved to New Milford by 1725 when he baptized Gershom. In 1729, he baptized Joseph. When Joseph died in 1755, Gershom and his father admin his estate in Sussex Co, NJ.
John, like his sisters Abigail and Jemima, was of Farmington, Connecticut, when he married, went to New Fairfield with his father, and then to Morris County, New Jersey, with others in the family. John Hough sold western Connecticut land to Samuel Chidester, David’s brother, in January 1732/33.
