Josiah is possibly the brother of Fitch Reed Warner who married Mary's sister Eunice Augusta in 1850 in the same county of Illinois. Newspapers say he was buried in St Joseph. He may have been re-interned in West Batavia Cemetery.

The funeral service of J. L. Warner, deceased, will be held at the Congregational Church on Monday (to-morrow,) afternoon, at 3 o'clock.
