Biography
Josiah is possibly the brother of Fitch Reed Warner who married Mary's sister Eunice Augusta in 1850 in the same county of Illinois. Newspapers say he was buried in St Joseph. He may have been re-interned in West Batavia Cemetery.
-J. L. Warner, a resident of St. Joseph, was killed on the 11 inst. by a stone cornice breaking from a building as he was passing it. [1]

The funeral service of J. L. Warner, deceased, will be held at the Congregational Church on Monday (to-morrow,) afternoon, at 3 o'clock. The Friends of the family and the community in general are invited to attend without further notice. The following gentlemen have been selected to act as pall-bearers: Hon. P Bills, W. B. Gillmore, Jos. S Ford, R. P. Richardson, W. Z. Ransom, W. D. Siceluff, FCapt. Frank Gorton. [2]
