Marriage Elizabeth Warren Hunnicutt to John Hunnicutt. [1]
Elizabeth Warren is frequently given the first name of Mary in many on line trees. There is no documentation to state that she ever used the name Mary. All legal papers and her signature on her husband's will state Elizabeth.

as one of the profile managers please? Thanks.
Profile Managers - One of the reasons for a profile having a manager is so that people know who to contact about the profile. This means managers need to be active & inactive managers removed. Please post a reply to this comment before Sunday, 16 May, if you are still active in WikiTree and would like to remain a manager of this profile. If I don't hear from you by then, I will remove you as manager (but you'll still be on the the trusted list). Thanks!
If this source is correct, Elizabeth Warren had to have died before John Hunnicut, who died in 1699. I don't know if Find A Grave is accurate, either: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/88173310/elizabeth-hunnicutt

I think the source has been misinterpreted. The page is about Thomas Warren, father of Elizabeth who marries John Hunnicutt, it's narrative refers to a first wife. In the list of children (including Elizabeth), there are lines between the list of children that say ... "Mar. 2d"... then "Mar. 3d". These second and third marriages refer to Thomas Warren, not to any of this children. It's a confusion derived from bad formatting on the part of the publisher.
Jane Stokes was the third wife of Thomas Warren and never married to John Hunnicut.
About two-thirds of the way down the page and I stand corrected: it's a probate record, not the actual will.
Elizabeth Warren's Find A Grave memorial indicates that she died in March, 1699. I have reservations to the correctness of the memorial, since there are no sources, here, either: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/88173310/elizabeth-hunnicutt

(D.&W. 1693-1709, p. 173), Surry Co., VA Court Records; page 389
John Hunnicutt, who has married Elizabeth Warren, dau of Mr. Thomas Warren, deceased, has received of Mr. Mathias Marriott his due portion of the estate belonging to ye said Elizabeth as it was given by Mrs. Jane Warren, and to acknowledge unto sd Marriott for the same. 20 Mar 1670. Teste Geo Watkin.
Note that *Jane* was then wife or at least heir of Thomas Warren. The implication is that Jane was Thomas Warren's widow at the time Thomas died.
These group of relationship is very complicated and requires serious research before editing. There once was an indepth explanation of these relationship with sources but that was edited away. Samuel Plaw was not married to Jane Allen King. Jane Stokes and Jane Allen are 2 different women. Thomas Warren Jr. Married Elizabeth Plaw. This was all at one time explained and sourced on profiles. These profile get heavy attention and face edits with misinformation all the time. Protection to keep parents and children from editing would be appreciated. Thanks Julliane
