Biography
Mary's children, born from about 1827 to 1856, are from her marriage with William Ray. She married William Fickett by 1860. According to death cert, it appears that Mary considered Moses and his sister-in-law Sarah as adopted parents. Moses' spouse Sarah passed away much earlier. Sarah's son Rufus also has Moses as parent on d/c. Both Mary and Rufus outlived Moses and Sarah by decades. Ancestry lists her as Mary W Fickett. Her 2nd spouse is a son of Moses' cousin.
