Biography

John Henry James Waterhouse died on 14 July 1952 at Blenheim [as sworn by his widow Annie Mary Waterhouse on 24 July 1952] aged 85 years.

His will reads as follows -

I, John Henry James Waterhouse, of Blenheim New Zealand, Boot Maker, do hereby bequest all my property whatsoever to my wife Annie absolutely, and appoint Her sole executive of this my will. And on the death of my wife all my property whatsoever I bequeath to my only son Henry Charles Lindsay Waterhouse.

Signed by the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who at his request, in his presence, and in the presence, and in that [sic] of each other have hereunto set our names as witness

As witness my hand this 23rd day of June 1920 John Henry James Waterhouse
