Biography

Thomas Waterman was born in October 1707 in Plympton, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts. His parents were Robert Waterman and Mary Cushman.[1]

He married Mercy Freeman on June 12, 1728 in Plympton.[2]

Together they had 7 children:

  1. Rebecca Waterman
  2. Jonathan Waterman
  3. Mercy Waterman
  4. Abigail Waterman
  5. Thomas Waterman
  6. Priscilla Waterman
  7. Freeman Waterman


He married his second wife, Joanna Paddock, widow of Lemuel Harlow, on January 05, 1763, in Plymouth.[3]

He married Lydia Faunce, widow of Ebenezer Washburn on August 01, 1765 in Plympton.[4]


He died on August 22, 1789 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts

Probate

The will of Thomas Waterman of Halifax, yeoman, was dated 16 July 1784 and proved on 5 October 1789 in Plymouth. He mentioned his children, Thomas Waterman (executor), Freeman Waterman (executor), the children of Rebecca Heford, decd., Mercy Jossling, and his grandson Robert Waterman.[5]
