Hannah Waterman was born on August 19, 1765 in Norwich Township, New London, Connecticut Colony. [1] Her parents were Nehemiah Waterman and Susannah Isham of Colchester.
On 16 Nov 1786, when Hannah was 21, she married Stephen Foote (also written as Foott) in Bozrah, New London, Connecticut. [2] Their children included Alfred b. 8 Dec.. 1787; Daniel b. 23 Sept. 1789; Sarah Isham b. 4 May 1791; Eli b, 7 May 1793; William Henry b. 20 Dec. 1794: Susannah Waterman b. 18 Aug. 1796.
Hannah died on January 20, 1848 and is buried in Linwood Cemetery, Colchester, New London, CT. [3] See gravestone inscription describing her as a Christian mother.
