Biography

Abner Waters, son of Stallworthy Waters (b. 18 April 1703; d. 29 June 1) and Sarah (Carrier) Waters (b. 21 October 1710; d. 13 July 1761), was born on 15 May 1729 at Hebron, CT and he died in 1778 at Hartland, CT. Abner Waters married Lydia Root, daughter of Jacob Root (b. 15 June 1687; d. 1766) and Sarah Goodale, who was born in 1723 at Hebron, CT., and she died 10 April 1818 at Granville, MA.

Abner and Lydia (Root) Waters were the parents of Olive Waters.
