I added the christening record for Mary Waters, daughter of Edward Waters, and changed her birth date to match that record. However, Edward's wife was Jone Rimell, not Alice Burton. (See Edward Waters M3XD-KKN at FamilySearch.) Whether Mary Waters is the same person as the Mary Withers who married Thomas Bloomfield, I don't know. I can't find any marriage records under either name.

A comment at the profile of James Waters says that Mary was not daughter of James Waters, but rather Edward Waters. I therefore changed the status of her parents as uncertain. I don't have access to the source for this information, but perhaps one of the managers of this profile does have access: https://www.americanancestors.org/databases/american-genealogist-the/image?pageName=172&volumeId=13264&rId=24794585

Is there any evidence that Phebe was married to a John Bloomfield (Bloomfield-333)?

A comment on her mother Phebe's profile says: "The marriage license of Phebe Manning and William Plasse names her as the widow of James Waters."

So I would agree with Linda that there was no James Withers who married Phebe Manning. Therefore, I have changed the year of birth to 1618 (since James Waters died in early 1618). This would make Phebe Manning about 42 years old when she had Mary. And Mary would have been about 44 years old when she had her last child Timothy Bloomfield.

Mary's mother Phebe Withers was previously married to a James Waters, who died in 1617. Appears that his date of death was transposed onto James Withers profile. I have removed this until a definitive death date for James Withers can be noted.

Her father's profile says he died in 1617. That she was born in 1620 makes that relationship problematic.

It looks like it could be the same person.

Could this be Mary Withers wife of Thomas Bloomfield? The birth and death dates and places are an exact match.

Withers-87 and Withers-819 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicates - please merge.

Thanks Beth
