Possibly living with grandfather John Brown in 1850 (see 1850 census), as enumerated on 30 July 1850; however, this same page of the census also shows Sallie living with her father a few households farther down the page that very same day, so the child in the grandfather's household may be a different child, or perhaps young Sallie was present in both households when the census taker came to call that day at different hours of the day. The Sarah E. Watkins in the grandfather's household is listed as age 3, while the Sarah E. Watkins listed in her father's household is listed as age 4.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sallie by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sallie:
Parental relationship has been changed from confirmed with DNA to confident because using matching DNA from 2 siblings (or grandparent/grandson, or 1st cousins) and a distant cousin is not an approved method of triangulation on WikiTree. See this page that states If a relationship is supported with DNA evidence but cannot be considered confirmed using one of the approved methods use the Confident status instead of Confirmed with DNA.: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Confirmed_with_DNA#Genealogy_Supported_by_DNA_but_not_Confirmed_with_DNA
