- Albert's Death Notice reads:
- "WATKINS, Albert Victor - August 17, 1993 at hospital, late of Lower Portland, loved son of Alfred and Sarah Watkins (nee Mitchell, both deceased), loved brother of Clarence, Frederick, Thomas, Phoebe (Gotts), Dorothy (Singleton) and Verlie (all deceased), Aubrey, Henry and Lillian (Alliband), fond brother-in-law and uncle to their families. Aged 76 years. At peace." After a Service at Uniting Church, Fitzgerald Street, Windsor he was buried at West Portland.
