Matilda was born in 1804 to Henry Watson and Mary Rhodes. She died in 1877. She married her first cousin Henry Watson, son of William Watson. William was brother to Henry and brother-in-law to Mary. Matilda's husband Henry referred to himself as Henry Junior in his 1832 will and named Matilda and her father Henry Senior as executors. Henry and Matilda wed in 1821. The children of Matilda and Henry were: Henry, William, James Albert, and Zachariah. In 1833 Matilda wed Arthur Brittingham.
