Research Notes

Family trees on ancestry.com link Anne as daughter of Butts Bacon Bt. He did have a daughter Anne, born 1612 in Suffolk, England. However, she married Henry Kitchingman in Suffolk and died in 1667 in Suffolk, England. Please do not connect this Anne with daughter of Butts Bacon. Her parents and last name at birth are still unknown. (Strutton-11 14:55, 5 April 2023 (UTC))

Anne is also linked on many ancestry.com family trees to Nathaniel Bacon, of Bacon's Rebellion. This is totally untrue and quite probably the result of wishful thinking on the part of some family history researcher. Please do not link Anne to any parent; her last name at birth is unknown.
