Numa Augustin Watson, son of Frank Bingley Watson and Sarah Dunn, was born on the 6th September 1899 in Salem, New Jersey.[1]
Numa married Mildred L. Poff.

Numa passed away on the 18th November 1981 in Pinellas, Florida.[1]
USMA Class of 1922. He was the son of Captain and Mrs. Frank B. Watson. His father, USMA Class of 1895, named him after a classmate, Joseph Numa Augustin, who lost his life in Cuba at the battle of San Juan Hill. In 1937 her married Mildred Poff of Wrightsville, Pennsylvania.
At the time of the 1920 Census, Numa was a cadet at West Point. At the time of the 1930 Census, Numa was living with his wife in his father-in-law's household in Saint Paul, Ramsey Co., MN.
During World War II, Numa was a Colonel in command of the 13 Infantry of the 8th Infantry Division. The troops he commanded fought in the Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. (Mark Smith)
