Note H468According to information from Sandra Watson:
"Both families lived around Wallace Creek and San Saba area. L.B. and Hester dated for a short while. One day as they were feeding animals, L.B. got out to open the gate and when he came back to get in the pickup he asked her "Don't you think it is about time we get married?" She answered "I guess so".
On November 9, 1957, L.B. was killed while they were clearing land in Acton, Texas. He was working for the Leonard Brothers. The dozer had a bad lead spring. They ran it up on a large rock so he could get under it. He was prying it with a bar while the boy on top was prying it with a crow bar, trying to put the spring back in place. The lever was hit and they hydrolic hose was knocked off. This made the machine come down and mashed him under the track. It kept slowly coming down and mashed him under the track. His son and another man were the only ones there. He told his son 'Tell Mama I won't be home tonight.' These were his last words."

However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with LB:
