Merton Edward Weatherwax was born on 30 April 1923 in Fort Ann, New York, United States.^[1][2][3][4] His parents were George Weatherwax and Mabel Morris.^[4]

Merton E Weatherwax enlisted in the US Army on 17 June 1942 in Albany, New York. His registration indicates he was single, and born in New York in 1923.^[1]

Merton married Marie L. Wright on 18 July 1948.^[5][3]

In 1950, Merton E and Marie L Weatherwax were living in Glens Falls, New York.^[6]

For 2001 to 2009, Merton lived in Fort Edward, New York, United States.^[2]

Merton died in March 1988.^[4][3] He was buried at Union Cemetery, Fort Edward, Washington County, New York, USA.^[3]
