Biography

He was born on 06 Apr 1812 in Habersham County, Georgia, USA to Rachel (Glazener) and Peter Weaver, Sr.

Peter Weaver, Jr. first married on 10 Sep 1835 in Habersham, Georgia to Margaret Dickson. [1] [2] [3] (1812-1877).

In 1836 he and his brother Peter Weaver, Jr. witnessed and signed an indenture for their father, Peter Weaver, Sr.

His first wife Margaret died about 1848 and their 4 children were placed within their paternal grandfather, Peter Weaver, Sr.

He went out to the California gold fields, so he did not appear with his family on the 1850 census.

In 1850 his brother David was an an executor of their father's estate, but neither of his brothers, Sam nor Peter Jr., were mentioned.

About 1851 he returned from California.

Peter Weaver, Jr. married secondly about 1851 in Lumpkin County, Georgia, USA to Armindia C. Martin. [citation needed]

In 1852 Peter Weaver (Jr.) of Lumpkin County bought 120 acres of land in Forsyth County, Georgia, USA. [4]

In 1853 Peter Weaver of Forsyth County bought 100 acres of land in Forsyth (formerly Cherokee) County, Georgia, USA. [5]

In 1855 Peter Weaver (Jr.) bought land in Winston County, Alabama, USA. [6] [7]

In 1857 Peter Weaver (Jr.) of Forsyth County, Georgia, USA sold a parcel of land. [8]

In 1858 Peter Weaver (Jr.) of Forsyth County, Georgia, USA sold a parcel of land. [9]

Before 1860 Peter Weaver (Jr.)'s children, Wiliam P. Weaver (Margaret's son) and Harriet Coloma Weaver (Arminda's daughter) died and were buried at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, near Matt, Forsyth County, Georgia, USA. [10]

By 1859 he had moved his family from Forsyth County, Georgia to Winston County, Alabama, USA.

About 1872 the family spent some time in Tennessee, USA, where 2 of his daughters were born.

By 1877 the family was back in Winston County, Alabama, USA.

He died on 25 Dec 1877 and was buried at Sardis #1 Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lynn, Winston County, Alabama, USA. [11]

I have added a number of census which shows that 2 different families have been combined into one. If you are agreeable, I will creat the missing family and move some children attached to this profile to the correct parents. And at that time move some census for them from here to there.
