MRS. OVID V. SHAW
Funeral services for Mrs Lavina Shaw, wife of Ovid V. Shaw of 522 Market Street, who died Monday at Mercer Hospital after a lengthy illness, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hartmann Funeral Home 530 Centre Street. The Rev. Vernon T Smith of Fifth Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Miss Lavina Shaw and Mrs. Delilah Beshears.
According to her death certificate, as shown on WDYTYA, her parents were Jacob Weaver (b. PA) and Janice McLain (b. PA) and she is buried in Riverview Cemetery.[1] She was the great-grandmother of actress Christina Applegate.
