Sarah Webb Price was captured during the Deerfield Mass, Massacre in the Winter of 1704. About 300 French Soldiers and Indians from different tribes raided their small village, killing 48 men, women and children in the Village and taking the rest captive. Sarah died in route to Canada where the captives were being taken, she was 53 years of age. [3][4][5]
